This is a house that was bought with a Section-8 tenant in it. The tenant, a young single mom with 2 kids, wanted to stay because she loved the house, and was afraid that because we are buying it she would have to move out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The previous landlord was tired of dealing with his rental property and wanted to relocate to the country. Wow, that was a challenging one! A vacant house in a beautiful area that needed TONS of work. I basically needed to be all gutted out (roof, windows, kitchen, bathrooms, plumbing, electric, HVAC, yardwork, EVERYTHING!).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The house was inherited by 4 siblings that grew up in it, and then, after it sitting vacant for 5 (!) years, they decided it is time to let it go. They searched online and found us, together with other companies. After talking with everyone, they decided to go with us. This house was owned by the seller’s family since it was built in 1976, and it was never updated since then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the last few years, the parents got sick and eventually passed away, and the seller who was taking care of them couldn’t bear to handle the memories of his loved ones fading away in front of him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He reached out to us to sell the house after it was not maintained for a few years because he focused on helping his parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We bought the house as-is, with all the stuff he had in it (except for the personal items with memories) and closed in 14 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
